Our Charity Partner

We are delighted to partner with the Foundation for National Parks & Wildlife (FNPW), to help safeguard Australian wilderness areas and wildlife for future generations.

Operating for over 50 years, the Foundation for National Parks & Wildlife is the trusted charity partner of Australia’s much loved National Parks. The non-government organisation funds conservation projects across Australia. Its programs include Wildlife Heroes - an Australian wildlife rescue and care program and Backyard Buddies - a free educational initiative, which provides tips on transforming backyards into safe habitat havens.   

The partnership represents a very important step for Tiger Tribe. We’ve always made charity contributions across the years but partnering with the FNPW helps us to consolidate our social impact in a way that not only resonates with who we are but adds a greater sense of meaning and purpose to what we do. 

Now, every Tiger Tribe product you purchase supports a diverse range of FNPW’s important conservation projects across Australia, including supporting wildlife volunteers, habitat restoration and more.

It’s a sad fact that Australia leads the world in mammal extinctions1 and habitat loss remains the single biggest driver of species decline in Australia2. This is not the future we want our children and grandchildren to grow up in.

As a family run Australian business designing products for children, we engage and connect with kids every day. It’s therefore crucial that we lead by example and demonstrate to our young fanbase that habitats and the animals and plants that live in them, are entitled to care and protection. So key to our partnership is funding for projects that protect and restore Australia’s natural landscape and safeguard vulnerable species.

As Ian Darbyshire, CEO, Foundation for National Parks & Wildlife says, “It’s thanks to our generous partners that we can continue growing parks and saving species across Australia. Our country is home to some of the most important flora and fauna in the world and, together with our partners, we are working towards protecting Australia for generations to come.”

Funds support a diverse range of FNPW’s conservation work across Australia, examples include;

  • Support to over 20,000 wildlife heroes caring for injured and endangered animals, including Wildlife Friendly Vets (WVF) program that provides training and resources to support important work during times of disaster. 
  • Grants to Bushfire Recovery Nurseries to propagate native and indigenous plants for landscaping, erosion prevention and re-building of habitats for impacted animals species. To be planted in national parks across Australia affected by bushfires.
  • Funding for the Healing Our Land appeal to help repair the damage inflicted during Australia’s recent horror bushfire season, including Emergency Bushfire Recovery Grants that focus on rehabilitating urgent, devastated areas in NSW and SA. 
  • Providing free environment education initiatives through Backyard Buddies programs. Find out how you can help our Backyard Buddies here.
